Our Dog Sledding Story

Eagle Ridge Sled Dog Kennel offers a unique blend of dog sledding adventures, Indigenous cultural education, and land-based learning experiences in the heart of Saskatchewan, Canada. Our mission is to provide an unforgettable journey that combines the thrill of dog sledding with a deep understanding of Indigenous culture and the natural environment.

At Eagle Ridge, we are passionate about sharing the beauty of dog sledding and the importance of preserving Indigenous traditions. With six years of mushing experience and four years of racing, I bring a deep passion for this exhilarating sport. As a land-based educator, I proudly contribute to the Métis community, fostering a love for cultural heritage and outdoor activities. My journey is driven by commitment to education and community engagement, inspiring others to connect with nature and embrace their roots.

At our core, we are dedicated to supporting both two-legged four-legged athletes on every adventure. As a proud Métis business owner, father and husband, I strive to foster a strong sense of community while helping everyone thrive on the trail.

Monroe Mondor

Monroe is a dedicated 16-year-old who started her journey in dog sledding 2022. Since then, she has embraced the sport wholeheartedly, purchasing her own sled and welcoming her own sled dogs into the Eagle Ridge family. As a proud Métis high school student, she balances her passion for racing with her part-time job at local veterinarian. With an eye on the 2026 race season Monroe is excited for what lies ahead!
