Owner Operator Musher

With six years of mushing experience and four years of racing, I bring a deep passion for this exhilarating sport. As a land-based educator, I proudly contribute to the Métis community, fostering a love for cultural heritage and outdoor activities. My journey is driven by commitment to education and community engagement, inspiring others to connect with nature and embrace their roots.

Monroe is a dedicated 16-year-old who started her journey in dog sledding 2022. Since then, she has embraced the sport wholeheartedly, purchasing her own sled and welcoming her own sled dogs into the Eagle Ridge family. As a proud Métis high school student, she balances her passion for racing with her part-time job at local veterinarian. With an eye on the 2026 race season Monroe is excited for what lies ahead!

We are thrilled to have Reese join us for our dog sledding adventures this winter! Reese even planned her school break around this exciting experience, showcasing her passion for the outdoors. Her enthusiasm and love for our adventures makes her a welcomed member of the Eagle Ridge family.

Meagan Anishinabie

Musher

A proud Anishininew woman from Northern Ontario, a dedicated hide worker and artisan. In 2024, she participated in her first race, showcasing her spirit and determination. You can often find her assisting Garrick with school and tour groups, sharing her knowledge and passion. When she's not helping others, she loves to be in the outdoors and is raising her own little funny farm, bringing joy and laughter to her life.

A dedicated firefighter and educator from La Ronge, SK, who recently completed his first race this winter! With a passion for the outdoors, he loves to share his adventures with his daughters, introducing them to the beauty nature and the thrill of exploration. His commitment to both his family and his profession shines through in everything he does. Join him on this exciting journey as they create lasting memories together!
